Although we aren't a garden centre and do not have a shop, you are very welcome to visit the nursery if you are in the area!
In 2008, we will be open during the summer quite often, and will have a sign at the bottom of the Brae when we're about. However, so many other commitments and things to do make it hard to specify a day, so please ring first!
To find us, if travelling from Perth, take the A9 north signposted Inverness, and turn left after about 8 miles signposted Bankfoot. You enter the village after about a mile; continue down Main Street till you see the Post Office on the left. Turn right up an unmarked, very narrow lane immediately before the Atholl Arms car park. This is Smiths Brae. Plants with Purpose is the second house on the left - with the unmissably organic and untidy garden, hens, geese and greenhouses!
Parking is very restricted, the road potholed and access limited, so unless you are disabled, we recommend you park in Main Street and walk up Smith's Brae - it's only 40 or 50 yards or so.
