Although we aren't a garden centre and do not have a shop, you are very welcome to visit the nursery if you are in the area!
In 2010, we will have a sign at the bottom of the Brae from Easter onwards when we're about. This is likely to be all week from the start of June to the end of August, except for holidays. But to be absolutely certain to find us in, please ring first!
To find us, if travelling from Perth, take the A9 north signposted Inverness, and turn left after about 8 miles signposted Bankfoot. You enter the village after about a mile; continue down Main Street till you see the Atholl Arms on right. Turn right up an unmarked, very narrow lane immediately before the Atholl Arms car park. This is Smiths Brae. Plants with Purpose is at Middlebank Cottage - the second house on the left - with the unmissably organic and untidy garden, hens, geese and greenhouses!
Parking is very restricted, the road badly potholed and access limited, so unless you are disabled, we recommend you park in Main Street and walk up Smith's Brae - it's only 40 or 50 yards or so.
